FishingMany Turkish men pass their time with fishing. No problem to fish at the sea or in one of the rivers. The trouts are a specialty. You want both?? Fishing in the sea and in a river ?? No problem, 3 km out of Manavgat / Side the Manavgat river flows into the Mediterranean sea and there on the peninsula You can do BOTH at the same time. So it is a good idea to take Your equipment with You or You buy it in one of the local shops.
Rafting
TennisIn the most 4 or 5 star hotels You will find tennis courts. Hotels without all-inclusive offer allow often non hotel-guests to use the courts (about 4 £ / hour).
SkiingNO JOKE !! About 50 km from Antalya in the middle auf the mountains of TAURUS in an altitude of 2.000 m there You find the mountain village Saklıkent. Skiing is possible there in the time november until april - small hotels and boardhouses as well as teahouses and of course 2 ski lifts are available. Who will prevent You to ski in the morning and to swim in the sea or to relax at the beach in the afternoon?
Playing Golf in TurkeyBetween Antalya and Side there is the City of Belek - the most wellknown place in Turkey for golf players. There are 5 international, modern golf courses and a lot of Top-hotels (the most of them are golf-resorts). One of the 5 golf courses is a club and open for every player. You can visit the "National Golf Club" in the internet. In Kundu (between Belek and Antalya) they are building the 2nd biggest Golf Course of the world. In Side they started to build a Golf Course, too. By the way the most holiday planes (charter) carry additional sport baggage for free.
